An institution for the industry

BEHESHTI — 1991

We come from the gold trade. DIDAR was built to give something back to it.

The story began in 1991, when Mohsen Beheshti entered the gold and jewelry trade, drawing on a family legacy of trust and commerce in Tehran’s Grand Bazaar. Beheshti Gold grew from that foundation. DIDAR Book later began documenting the knowledge and people of the field. ŌN carried that point of view into art, culture, and hospitality; DIDAR Gold developed it as a business-to-business platform for the gold and jewellery industry. DIDAR Space is the next chapter: a place for the industry to meet, learn, and shape what comes next.

Today, a multidisciplinary team across management, design, content, production, sales, and events carries the work forward—quietly, collectively, and close to the industry it came from.

It started with nights like these.

Shams Langroudi read poetry. Ardeshir Rostami spoke about it. There was live music, and people gathered around one table. These nights are part of DIDAR’s archive.

In the making

The space, the program, and the experience are taking shape together.

DIDAR is being built through real rooms, working tables, and the people willing to imagine what an institution for the industry can become.

The first gathering

One table. No stage.

DIDAR 001 is intentionally small and carefully curated. It begins with a shared table, because the first act of an institution should be to listen.

  • Curated participation
  • Dialogue before speeches
  • Identity before scale
