Software can produce form, but it does not decide thickness, connections, stone clearance, editability, assembly logic or production readiness. This masterclass focuses on the gap between knowing commands and building a professional CAD model.

The course project
One project, from first decision to a defensible model.
Each participant advances a defined project, explains the logic of form, tool choices and technical decisions, then uses critique to produce a more resolved model for the production pathway.

Mobina Mohammadvali
Jewellery designer and digital jewellery design instructorMobina Mohammadvali has more than eight years of experience in digital jewellery design and has taught the field for the past three years. Her work focuses on precise modelling, contemporary form and the relationship between technology, structure and concept. In 2026, her Connection jewellery set received a Bronze A’ Design Award.

Which software version does the course use?
The course specifically uses Matrix 9. Released in 2017, it is now a legacy product; installation, compatibility and hardware requirements will be published before final enrolment.
How many sessions are there, and when do they meet?
There are twenty three-hour sessions, held on Sundays from 17:00 to 20:00: sixty contact hours in total.
Does the course start from zero?
The precise entry level and prerequisites will be announced soon. Until then, the programme is not presented as a zero-to-advanced course.
Do I need to bring a laptop?
Yes. This is a practical, project-led programme. Minimum hardware and software requirements will be published before final enrolment.

What is the tuition, and can I pay in instalments?
